Installing and Uninstalling
Installation and uninstallation of toolbars is quite easy, but the process differs somewhat depending on whether you use Internet Explorer or Firefox. The following applies to Windows systems.
Internet Explorer:
Install
When you download the toolbar you may choose to save it or run it. If you choose save, then remember where you put it. To install you must run the file to install it, so click on it. The proper file ends with an .exe. It will then install itself to your Internet Explorer browser. If you receive any warnings, simply click the option that allows the install to continue. It's perfectly safe to do so.
You will be asked to choose some options to configure the toolbar. Again, these are straightforward, and if you don't know what to choose, don't worry. You can always change your choices at any time. That's about it.
Uninstall:
You uninstall our toolbars (for IE) like you would any other program. Open the control panel and find "Programs and Features". click on it and wait until it populates the list. The name of the toolbar will be listed. Click on it, and click uninstall.
Firefox
Installation for Firefox is done completely within the browser itself. From within Firefox click on the download toolbar button. A Firefox window will open asking you if you want to install the toolbar. Approve the installation and follow any instructions. It's all perfectly safe.
Once you have installed you will be asked to choose some preferences. Don't worry. You can change these at any time later.
Uninstall
To uninstall, from within Firefox, find the Tools menu. Click on "Addons" and you should see the toolbar listed (there may be other entries). You can then choose to disable the toolbar (make it disappear but still be available if you want it) or "uninstall" (completely remove). Choose whichever one you want. Follow any instructions.
