About Us

Busylearners is a Bacal & Associate site. Bacal & Associates was founded in 1992 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, by Robert Bacal, with the intent of offering training and consulting services primarily to government clients. We are now located near Ottawa, in Ontario, Canada.

Over the years, the company evolved from a focus on what we offer, to a focus on the results we create -- learning. Our overall mission is to provide our clients with useable tools to promote practical learning that can be applied on the job, and in one's personal life.

We have created websites to enable learning on various topics through helping people access free Internet resources. We've published a number of tightly focused learning aids called helpcards, in addition to publishing books, both long and short.

In addition, CEO Robert Bacal has written a number of books published worldwide by McGraw-Hill and Alpha Press (Complete Idiots Guides). A number of his books have been translated into other languages, including French, Spanish, German and Chinese.
